Kadriye is made up of three distinct settings: a compact local centre, a band of large resorts and golf courses, and a sandy coast around the public Beach Park. The public beach is a separate coastal space, not the beach section of a particular resort.

Kadriye at a glance

Kadriye is a coastal neighbourhood in the district of Serik and forms part of the wider Belek tourism area. Its everyday centre sits inland from the shore, with shops, cafés and restaurants used by local residents as well as visitors. This is a practical town centre rather than an old quarter, marina or seafront promenade.

The resort belt and golf courses occupy a different part of the neighbourhood, while the public beach area lies on the coast. The same place name therefore covers three different settings.

Between the centre and the coast

Kadriye's shoreline is dominated by sand, and Kadriye Public Beach Park provides a public coastal setting apart from the beach sections attached to resorts. The park area includes more than the strip beside the water, with an entrance and open-air cinema area set back from the shore. Conditions and available services can vary along this sandy Mediterranean coast.

Away from the beach, the resort belt is organised around hotel grounds and golf courses. The local centre contains everyday places to eat, drink and shop.

Things to do in Kadriye: key places and landscapes

Kadriye Public Beach Park. This public stretch of coast lies beyond Kadriye's resort grounds. Its shore is sand-dominated and adjoins the park.

The Garden of Tolerance. Opened in 2004, Hoşgörü Bahçesi has a mosque, church or chapel, and synagogue opening onto a shared courtyard. The complex is used for worship and represents the idea of coexistence between faiths.

The Land of Legends and Shopping Avenue. The Land of Legends is located in Kadriye, not merely somewhere in the wider Belek area. The site includes a theme park, water attractions, Shopping Avenue and entertainment spaces.

Kadriye's golf landscape. Golf courses form a substantial part of the setting between town and resort life. Pines and eucalyptus trees line fairways broken up by ponds and bunkers, and some courses also have floodlit play.

The beach and The Land of Legends are more prominent in summer. Golf, football camps and business meetings become more visible across the wider resort area from autumn into spring.

Kadriye, Belek and Serik

Kadriye and neighbouring Belek are adjoining neighbourhoods within the same resort-and-golf region, not two names for exactly the same place. Kadriye contains The Land of Legends, the Garden of Tolerance and its own public beach, while Belek is more closely associated with the resort coast around its centre and the neighbouring golf belt. Inland Serik is the district centre and has a broader range of everyday services.
