Belek has a long, mainly sandy resort coast, large landscaped hotels, golf courses and a compact town centre. The name refers both to a coastal neighbourhood in Serik and, more broadly, to the resort and golf zone along this stretch of the Mediterranean. Things to do in Belek range from time by the sea and golf to Aspendos and attractions in neighbouring Kadriye.
Large full-service resorts line much of the coast, often with gardens, pools, sports facilities and their own beach sections. The centre is smaller and more everyday, with shops, cafés and restaurants rather than an old town, marina or long seafront promenade.
Things to do in Belek: places not to miss
Belek’s resort coast
Sand dominates much of the shoreline, with dunes, pine and eucalyptus vegetation, resort gardens and golf areas behind parts of the beach. It is not one uninterrupted public promenade: hotel beach sections and public beach areas have different access arrangements and facilities. A public beach area provides another point of access away from the individual hotel sections. Sand texture and sea conditions can also vary by section, weather and season.
The golf landscape
Belek is one of Türkiye’s best-known golf destinations. Its courses cover large areas of the flat coastal terrain, with fairways among pine and eucalyptus trees, lakes, ponds, bunkers and carefully maintained greens. Golf is easy to recognise as part of the resort’s identity even without playing, and some courses also have floodlit play.

Aspendos Roman Theatre
Aspendos lies outside Belek centre in the wider Serik district. Its exceptionally well-preserved Roman theatre is the best-known monument, while remains of the ancient city and aqueduct system show that Aspendos is a broader archaeological site rather than a single building.

The Land of Legends in Kadriye
The Land of Legends is in neighbouring Kadriye, not central Belek. The complex contains a theme park, water attractions, Shopping Avenue and entertainment areas, separate from Belek’s beach and golf scenery.
Belek centre, the coast and Kadriye
Belek centre forms a compact cluster of cafés, restaurants and shops. Hotels and beach sections stretch along the coast away from these town streets. Kadriye is a separate neighbouring coastal and golf area with its own public beach. The two tourism zones are closely associated, but Belek is more strongly identified with the resort coast around its centre and the surrounding golf belt, while Kadriye is closely linked with The Land of Legends.
Evenings in Belek
Resort programmes take place along the coast, while the centre has a quieter mix of cafés, restaurants and shops. Belek is not a historic urban nightlife district with dense streets of bars, nor does it have a single waterfront strip where evening activity is concentrated.
Beach season and golf season
Summer is the hotter, busiest period for beach holidays. From autumn into spring, golf is more prominent, and the destination also receives football camps and meetings.
Antalya Airport transfers to Belek
A private Antalya Airport to Belek transfer provides direct transport to the resort area. Current vehicle choices and reservation details for the journey are available on the linked route page. The airport-to-accommodation journey can therefore be organised in advance.
