Gazipaşa Airport Transfers: The Shortcut to Alanya Most Visitors Miss
Gazipaşa Airport is 45 minutes from Alanya, not three hours. Transfer prices to Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kestel and Avsallar, and when to choose it over Antalya.
Most people flying to Alanya land at Antalya Airport and then spend two hours in a car heading east. It works, but it is rarely the best plan — because there is a second airport barely half an hour from Alanya, and a lot of visitors never notice it when they book.
Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) sits on the coast east of Alanya. It is small, quiet, and close to everything on this stretch of shoreline. If your hotel is anywhere between Avsallar and Mahmutlar, landing here instead of Antalya can cut your transfer from two hours to forty-five minutes.

What a Gazipaşa Airport transfer costs
Prices are per vehicle, not per person, for a private car with a driver meeting you inside the terminal. Every figure below is pulled live from our booking system as you read this page.
The Alanya core — 30 to 50 minutes
West of Alanya — around 1 hour
Towards Side and Manavgat — 1.5 to 2 hours
This is where the maths flips. If your hotel is out here, Antalya is usually the shorter drive.
When Gazipaşa is the right choice
The rule is simple: draw a line at Okurcalar. East of it — Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kestel, Tosmur, Konaklı, Avsallar — Gazipaşa wins, usually by more than an hour of driving. West of it, Antalya Airport is closer and better connected.
That hour matters more than it sounds. It is the difference between reaching your hotel at nine in the evening and reaching it at ten, with children who have already been travelling since dawn.
The trade-off is flight choice. Gazipaşa is served by fewer airlines and fewer routes, and outside high summer the schedule thins considerably. Antalya has far more flights, often cheaper ones. So the honest comparison is not "which airport is better" but "does the cheaper Antalya ticket still win once you add the longer, pricier transfer?" Sometimes it does. Often, for the Alanya end of the coast, it does not.
What the transfer includes
The same standard as everywhere else we operate: a driver waiting in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, flight tracking so a delay simply moves your pickup, free waiting time while you clear passport control, all fuel and tolls, and child seats when you ask for them.
Gazipaşa's terminal is small enough that finding your driver is genuinely easy — there is one arrivals exit, not four.
No per-bag charge, no night surcharge, no fee added at the kerb.
A practical note on late arrivals
Many Gazipaşa flights land late in the evening. Because the airport is compact, you will typically be in the car within fifteen minutes of the aircraft door opening — a real advantage over a large terminal at midnight, where the walk to the exit alone can take that long.
Fares do not change with the hour. A 02:00 landing costs what a midday one costs.

Booking notes
Give the flight number rather than the landing time — we track the aircraft, and a typed time does not survive a delay. Send the full hotel name and address; the Alanya strip has several hotels with near-identical names. And book the return at the same time, so your last morning is not spent negotiating at the reception desk.
If you are still deciding which airport to fly into, our guide to Antalya Airport transfer prices lists every destination on the western side of the coast, so you can compare both runs before you book the flight.
Frequently asked questions
About 45 kilometres, which is roughly 45 minutes by car. Antalya Airport, by comparison, is around two hours from Alanya. A private transfer from Gazipaşa to Alanya starts at per vehicle.
It depends which side of Okurcalar your hotel is on. East of it (Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kestel, Tosmur, Konaklı, Avsallar), Gazipaşa saves you well over an hour. West of it, Antalya is closer and has many more flights. Compare the total of ticket plus transfer, not the ticket alone.
Per vehicle, always. Two people and five people travelling to the same hotel in one car pay the same price. You only pay more if your group needs a larger vehicle, such as a van or a minibus.
Nothing, provided you gave us the flight number when booking. We track the aircraft and move the pickup to the actual landing time. There is no rebooking fee and no charge for the extra waiting, whether the delay is twenty minutes or four hours.
Yes, at any hour, and the fare is identical to a daytime one. Many Gazipaşa flights arrive late in the evening, so night pickups are routine for us. Because the terminal is small you are usually in the car within fifteen minutes of landing.
